Description:

Take a day just for yourself. Slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the beauty of the Engadin.

We begin with a gentle yoga practice by the peaceful Lej da Staz, followed by a nourishing brunch. From there, we'll hike through the stunning alpine landscape to a crystal-clear mountain lake, where you'll experience the refreshing power of cold-water immersion before enjoying a picnic surrounded by nature.

This is a day to move, breathe, embrace the elements and reconnect with yourself, nature and like-minded people. You'll return home feeling grounded, refreshed and inspired.

What Awaits You:

Morning Yoga at Lej da Staz

We begin the day with a gentle yoga flow by the peaceful lake Lej da Staz. Through mindful movement and breath, you'll ease into the day feeling grounded and present.

Nourishing Brunch

After practice, we'll enjoy a wholesome brunch together. Made with fresh, nourishing ingredients and shared in good company.

Alpine Hike & Cold-Water Immersion

We'll hike through the beautiful Engadin landscape to a crystal-clear mountain lake, where you'll be guided through a refreshing cold-water immersion with simple breathwork and gentle guidance.

Lakeside Picnic

To round off the day, we'll gather for a relaxed picnic by the lake. Designed by two qualified nutritionists, the food is nourishing and intended to support you throughout the day. It's an opportunity to slow down, connect with others, and take in the beauty of the mountains before heading home.

Surprise
We've prepared a small gift for every participant—just a little something to make the experience even more special.

Important information:

The mountains always have the final say. We love being outdoors and will adapt the day to the conditions. If it rains, we'll move our yoga practice and brunch to Hotel Laudinella. Should the weather make the hike unsafe, we'll prepare a beautiful alternative experience and let everyone know 24 hours before the retreat.

Why This Journey?

  • Slow down and enjoy a day away from everyday life
  • Move your body, breathe deeply, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Engadin
  • Experience the refreshing feeling of cold-water immersion in a crystal-clear alpine lake
  • Enjoy wholesome food and meaningful conversations
  • Share the day with a small group of like-minded people
  • Head home feeling lighter, refreshed, and inspired

What to Bring

Please bring comfortable hiking shoes, weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, swimwear, a towel, your yoga mat, a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and warm layers for after the cold immersion. We also recommend bringing a small backpack for the hike and anything you need to feel comfortable throughout the day.

A quiet confidence surrounds Nicole and Jana — a grounded presence shaped by experience, intuition, and a deep understanding of what it means to truly nourish.

Her approach is grounded yet light, bringing ease, clarity, and a quiet sense of balance.

Johana

Yoga Teacher

She discovered yoga in 2017 through a close friend while working in the financial sector. Seeking a more meaningful path, she completed her yoga teacher training in India, immersing herself in philosophy, asana, and meditation.

In 2021, she became a certified LYT Method teacher and began combining traditional yoga with functional movement. Her passion for movement later expanded into fitness, guided by her belief that movement is medicine: building resilience, restoring balance, and enhancing quality of life.

With international teaching experience, she teaches in English.

Charlène

Yoga Teacher

Charlène is a yoga and meditation teacher, specializing in Yin Yoga, Vinyasa, Yoga Nidra, Sound Healing, mindfulness workshops, and retreats.

Born in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, she lived and worked in Berlin for several years. In 2019, she left the corporate world to embark on a new adventure, traveling for several months to deepen her path in yoga and mindfulness. During her travels, she experienced different styles of yoga and immersed herself more deeply in various meditation techniques.

With several years of experience, she provides group classes, retreats, ceremonies, and workshops. For her, yoga is much more than a physical practice. It is a holistic journey, a gateway to self-awareness and inner growth. It is not only a physical experience; the practice goes beyond the mat and invites practitioners to cultivate a more conscious way of living.

With international teaching experience, she teaches in English.

Fortesa

Retreat Chef

My name is Fortesa and I have been passionate about cooking ever since I was four years old. Rather than rigidly following recipes or set menus, I embrace a creative and intuitive approach in the kitchen. I enjoy experimenting, so each dish has a touch of spontaneity, but I also value simplicity and like to highlight the natural quality of the ingredients.

I adapt my cooking according to the season, the weather and my guests' preferences, ensuring a personalised and memorable experience. Above all, I cook with great passion and care, and spices are an essential part of my cuisine.

I look forward to welcoming you to Albania, where you may even have the opportunity to join me in the kitchen!

Larissa

Social Media Manager of Ice & Yoga

Beyond her love for movement, Larissa is deeply drawn to everything creative, from writing to capturing moments that tell a story.
She believes that in today’s fast-paced world, it is more important than ever to carve out spaces of stillness and peace -something she not only practices herself, but also loves to share through her role at Ice & Yoga.
Supporting Ice & Yoga and its mission is something she truly cherishes.

Inga

Traditional Lithuanian Sauna Master

Using natural elements such as birch branches (vanta), wild herbs, steam, honey and more, Inga creates deeply relaxing and cleansing experiences rooted in centuries of wisdom. With a deep connection to nature and an intuitive sense of each person's needs, she transforms each sauna session into a personal, healing journey.

Greta

Wim Hof Method Instructor

Greta is a certified Wim Hof Method Instructor, a physiotherapist and holds a Master's Degree in Health Sciences.

In her work, she observed that many physical problems stem from psychological tension and stress. When she discovered the Wim Hof Method, she found it to be a powerful tool for stress management and psychological control, helping to reduce pain, injury and illness. Her holistic approach increases body awareness, leading to improved physical and emotional wellbeing, greater strength and overall happiness for her clients.

Fabienne

Yoga Teacher

Her journey with body movement began in childhood as a competitive rhythmic gymnast, a passion she deeply loved. In 2017, after a personal loss, she found solace in yoga. Since then, she has completed over 750 hours of Yoga Alliance training and is now an RYT-500h certified teacher.

She is inspired by the way yoga connects the mind and body and hopes to help others explore this as well. Whether someone is a total beginner or an experienced practitioner, she is dedicated to finding the right class for them. Her goal is to create a joyful, transformative space where individuals can discover their potential. No matter where they are on their yoga journey, she is there to support them.

Nives

Eventmanager and Founder of Ice and Yoga Retreats

I have always loved the feeling after a good yoga session and the invigorating sensation of a dip in icy water. These experiences bring me immense joy and satisfaction.

My journey began with a degree in Hotel Management in Lucerne, Switzerland. For many years, I worked as an event manager, organizing a wide range of events and attending many retreats myself.

This year, I also started as a "safe-space" holder at Keen Wellbeing, where I help participants get into the ice bath. Combining my personal passions with my professional expertise, I am dedicated to creating unforgettable retreats.

Using my background in hospitality and event management, I design experiences that leave participants feeling recharged and inspired.

It gives me great joy to see people happy and fulfilled, whether it's after an invigorating ice bath or a delicious meal.
I can't wait to meet you! Love, Nives

Corinne

Head Chef

I'm Corinne, a passionate chef with a heart and a love for wild herbs.

My cooking is inspired by nature, characterised by curiosity and driven by a deep love of detail. I love cooking over an open fire and experimenting with different ingredients.

In autumn 2025, I will be immersing myself further in the world of wild flavours with an internship at Stefan Wiesner's restaurant in Entlebuch.
To me, cooking is about more than just food. It's a form of expression and an experience. It's also an invitation to pause for a moment.
