We’re passionate about combining yoga, cold exposure, and thoughtful hospitality—and with The Alpine Reset, we’ve created a retreat that brings it all together. Set at Lej da Staz, this unique location places you right in the middle of alpine nature. Surrounded by forests, open landscapes, and fresh mountain air, it offers the perfect setting to step away from everyday life and reconnect with yourself.
This retreat is for you if you’re ready to immerse yourself in a carefully curated blend of yoga, hikes, cold plunges, and sauna sessions. Each element is designed to support your reset—simple, grounding, and deeply effective.
Every day offers space for reflection and renewal. Journal your thoughts, share meaningful conversations, and connect with like-minded people. Exceptional, nourishing meals and moments of togetherness create a sense of warmth and ease throughout the experience.
No detail is left to chance—The Alpine Reset is designed to offer you time to be cared for, inspired, and deeply restored.
Vinyasa and Yoga Nidra or Yin Yoga.
Both inexperienced and experienced yogis are welcome. As long as your're open to learning and adapting every level is welcome.
No, not at all. We expect the lakes to be around 8–15 degrees, so they won't be ice cold.
On Saturday, we're going to hike to a mountain lake and have our cold plunge.
The lake "Lej da Staz" might be refreshingly cool, or perhaps even warm, but if you're looking for a more chilly swim, the lake of St. Moritz will be cold as well.
We’ve prepared a packing list for The Alpine Reset in September at Lej da Staz:
September in the mountains can be warm and sunny during the day, but cooler, and sometimes windy, in the mornings and evenings. Layering is key!
Experience shows that less is more - so feel free to travel light!
Optional:
Towels for shower and sauna are provided.
Yoga, sauna and cold exposure can be mentally as well as physically challenging, so it's important to be in good physical and mental shape before you start the retreat. If you have any health conditions or injuries, it's important to let the retreat organisers know in advance so that they can make suggestions or alternatives for you if you need them. Cardiovascular Health: Ice baths can put a strain on the cardiovascular system, especially if you have underlying heart conditions. If you have any concerns about your heart health, it's important to speak to your doctor before taking part. Ultimately, the most important thing is to listen to your body during the retreat. If something feels too challenging or uncomfortable, it's okay to take a step back or ask for modifications. The goal is to have a positive and relaxing experience that leaves you feeling refreshed and energised.
Included: Breakfast, lunch and a two-course dinner, all prepared using fresh produce from the valley.
Fresh, hand-picked, in-house-dried tea is available all day, as is the crystal-clear mountain water.
Extras are not included. You can always order extra beverages, such as a glass of wine, or an additional meal from the restaurant.
Please complete the 'Booking Request' form. Once we have received your enquiry, we will send you a confirmation email and an invoice for the retreat.

Your journey from Zurich to Lej da Staz will take you into the heart of the Engadin, forming part of the retreat experience itself.
The most convenient option is by train. From Zurich HB, travel via Chur (or Landquart) to St. Moritz. This journey takes approximately 3 to 3.5 hours and offers beautiful views of lakes, valleys and mountains along the way. Swiss trains are comfortable, reliable and easy to navigate.
From St. Moritz station, the chalet at Lej da Staz is a 30–40 minute easy walk through nature.
For your convenience, we provide a shuttle service on arrival and departure days. The exact times will be announced, but it will be between 12:30 and 13 o'clock. Guests are picked up at the car park below Waldhaus am See or Parkhaus Serletta and taken directly to the chalet. On your departure day, the shuttle will also take you back to these locations. Please note that the shuttle service is only available for arrivals and departures.
Alternatively, travelling by car takes around 2.5–3 hours from Zurich, and parking is available at Parkhaus Serletta.
We are happy to help with any questions you may have about your journey to ensure a smooth and relaxed arrival.
